Allium nigrum is a striking ornamental onion that blooms beautifully in white with semi-spherical umbels. This sturdy plant flowers in May and June and reaches a height of around 70 cm. Even after blooming, the seed heads remain decorative and add interest to the garden. Allium nigrum is an ideal transitional bloomer between spring and summer flowers.
